PHOTO CONTEST: Story County Conservation | Arts & Culture

Budding photographers are invited to submit their nature and recreational photos taken within Story County.

The Story County Conservation Partners is holding its annual photo contest this spring. You must submit your pictures by March 29th.

The following categories will be judged:

• Nature in Story County Conservation parks and areas (may include structures)
• Specimen shot of native plant or animal (photographs of specific plants or animals – micro or macro)
• Connecting people and recreation (People enjoying Story County Conservation areas) 

Each photographer may submit up to three entries. Youth photography entries (18 years old or younger) will be judged separately.

Cash and other prizes will be awarded in each category at the Partners Spring Festival on May 5 at McFarland Park. 

Photographers retain all rights to their images except for use by Story County Conservation.
