The Ames Parks and Recreation wants to help people get in shape this summer.
Starting of June 24, the DPR of Ames will offer classes including: HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), Trampoline & Tubing Classes, Zumba, Zumba Toning, Step Aerobics, Total Body Conditioning, Power Pump, Pilates, Yoga, and Senior Fitness classes.
The DPR is also offering a summer session of their Extreme Outdoor Bootcamp. The event is a 60-minute fitness class will challenge you to a high-intensity workout that involves running, sprints, stair climbing and other strength and flexibility intervals. The class will be held outside at Ames Park twice a week on Tuesdays or Thursdays from June 25-August 1.
