SAFETY SURVEY: Ames Asks For Input | News
The City of Ames wants to hear from its residents.
The city’s Public Works Department has partnered with Campustown Action Association to gather data from bicyclists in the Campustown area. Residents are being asked to participate in an online survey that will be used to improve safety and traffic flow in the area.
“The survey asks bikers to share thoughts on items such as how often they bike in the area, how safe they feel, and what amenities would be helpful,” says Operations Supervisor Corey Mellies, Ames Public Works Department. “We know Campustown experiences a high volume of vehicles, bike riders, and pedestrians. With all these different modes of transportation in a relatively compact space, we are looking for ways to make the area work best for everyone.”
The survey is available here.
